KITTY’S COSMOPOLITAN CLUB SET TO OPEN IN RIVER NORTH THIS WEEK
The new cocktail lounge from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants and the award-winning bar team behind Three Dots and a Dash and Gus’ Sip & Dip aims to set a new standard for elegance and hospitality
Kitty’s Cosmopolitan Club, a new concept from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants and Partner/Beverage Director Kevin Beary, will open this week on the lower level of 51 W. Hubbard Street in River North. All cocktails are ordered, crafted, and served by expert bartenders, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and genuine service for any occasion.
“Kitty’s Cosmopolitan Club’s guiding principle is to offer cocktails that have a classic reference point, utilizing modern techniques,” says Partner and Beverage Director Kevin Beary. “This allows the guest to base their ordering decision on a familiar favorite while enjoying the benefits of modern cocktail-making methods and spirit selection, beyond traditional recipes.”
The bar maintains a tight selection of ten standout spirits per category, chosen for quality and performance in refined classics. Services include traditional tableside stirred martinis and Chicago’s first dedicated -16°F walk-in freezer cocktail station, offering a range of impeccably cold, expertly crafted drinks.
The experienced team includes Bar Managers Tyler MacLellan and Scott Kitsmiller, along with a roster of veteran Chicago bar talents. The food menu composed by James Beard Award-nominated Chef Thai Dang (Crying Tiger and HaiSous Vietnamese Kitchen) and Chef Bob Broskey (RPM Restaurants and Gus’ Sip & Dip) will offer a raw bar selection and curated dim sum.
David Collins Studio, responsible for the stunning spaces of Tre Dita and Crying Tiger, collaborated on the opulent interior of Kitty’s Cosmopolitan Club.
